Compensation:
- $225 – $300 per completed clinical assessment
- $45 – $55 per hour (therapy and program services)
We are a licensed provider of Community Stabilization and Mental Health Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services serving Richmond, VA and surrounding counties. We’re building a team of LMHP-Type providers who value autonomy, documentation integrity, and meaningful client impact.

What This Role Includes
This Independent Contractor position includes clinical assessment and therapeutic services across Community Stabilization and Mental Health IOP programming.
LMHP-Type providers may serve in one or both service lines depending on availability and program needs.
Community Stabilization
In Community Stabilization, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments aligned with DMAS requirements
- Establish DSM diagnoses
- Develop and sign Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
- Determine appropriate level of care and clinical recommendations
- Provide individual therapy as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with QMHPs providing ongoing skill-building support
- Maintain timely, compliant documentation
This role blends assessment, therapeutic support, and steady collaboration within community-based care.
Mental Health Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
Our IOP program operates between 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
We will be offering three structured group tracks:
- In-Person Day Program: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- In-Person Evening Program: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Telehealth Evening Program: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Within IOP, LMHP-Type providers:
- Conduct clinical assessments for program admission
- Provide individual therapy as indicated
- Facilitate therapeutic group sessions
- Ensure treatment alignment with ISPs
- Maintain documentation consistent with DMAS and DBHDS standards
In both service lines, assessment and therapy are integrated components of care.

Requirements
- Virginia LMHP-Type designation (LMHP, LMHP-R, LMHP-RP, LMHP-S, etc.)
- Experience conducting clinical assessments
- Strong knowledge of DSM diagnostic criteria
- Experience with DMAS-compliant documentation
- Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
