Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist! Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles under supervision
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to promote desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively
- Collaborate with team members, caregivers, and families to ensure consistency in therapy approaches
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills across communication, socialization, and adaptive behaviors
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to start date, you have 90 days to take certification test.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies
- Ability to collect detailed data and maintain precise medical records
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health and special education
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate attitude with patience for working with individuals with autism and other developmental challenges
- Cpr Certified.
