Children's Social Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and advocacy to individuals and families in need. This role requires a compassionate individual with strong counseling skills and the ability to assess and address various social issues. Daily tasks include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, coordinating with external agencies and documenting daily progress.

Duties:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns

- Providing counseling and support for adolescents in crisis situations
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs and develop treatment plans
- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help clients manage their emotions and behaviors
- Work with patients to address developmental challenges and provide support to other team members
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Conduct research to stay current on best practices in social work and behavioral therapy

Qualifications:
- Proficient in data collection and analysis for treatment planning
- Experience with diagnostic evaluation tools and assessments
- Ability to provide effective behavioral therapy interventions
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Compassionate approach to working with individuals in crisis or distress

-Knowledge of child welfare policies and procedures

-Strong documentation and record-keeping skills

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Worker or a related field

-Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worekr (LSCW) preferred
