Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team,_ bilingual is a plus_. In this vital role, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Responsibilities
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies as outlined in personalized care plans.
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence.
- Support teaching sessions aimed at developing communication, social, and life skills tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior logs, and treatment records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency and quality of care.
- Uphold patient care standards by demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism during all interactions.
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and behavior management strategies.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to assist with ADLs while encouraging independence and positive reinforcement.
- Excellent teaching skills with a patient-centered approach to support learning and growth.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
