Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement individualized behavioral therapy plans, support patient assessments, and assist in data collection to promote meaningful progress. Responsibilities

  • Work 1 on 1 with a child or adult with special needs and follow the treatment plan to improve the clients life.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions.
  • Support patient assessments and participate in diagnostic evaluations under supervision to help develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and accurate medical documentation.
  • Support clients during therapy sessions, providing patience and encouragement to foster engagement and learning.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient progress, treatment notes, and medical documentation in accordance with privacy regulations.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in spanish preferred
  • Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy or applied behavior analysis (ABA) preferred.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder preferred
  • Strong data collection skills with attention to detail for tracking client progress accurately.
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent patience and communication skills for working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment focused on patient care and behavioral health.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
