Role: Physician – Psychiatrist (Adult & Child)

Location: San Jose, California

6-Month Contract | 12–16 Hours/Week

$200/Hour

Flexible schedule within Monday–Friday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM). Provider may design a consistent weekly schedule aligned with clinic needs.

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric assessments and medication management services for developmentally disabled patients with mental health disorders in an outpatient setting (telehealth and/or onsite).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental status exams (MSE)

• Diagnose per DSM guidelines

• Provide medication management and prescribe controlled substances

• Collaborate with medical director and clinical team

• Maintain accurate documentation in EHR system

• Provide consultation and family education as needed

Requirements:

• Active California Medical License

• Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN)

• Eligible for Medi-Cal/Medicare

• Vaccination compliance (Flu & COVID)
