Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and become a vital part of transforming lives through behavioral therapy! Duties

  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Collect accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting, fostering independence and self-care skills.
  • Use evidence-based behavioral strategies to teach communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Maintain detailed and compliant medical records, treatment notes, and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop care plans that align with each client’s goals and ensure consistency across interventions.
  • Engage with clients in a positive, patient-centered manner that encourages participation and builds trust in a supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification within the required timeframe.
  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
  • Ability to follow detailed treatment plans, collect data accurately, and adapt interventions based on client needs.
  • Excellent teaching skills combined with patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or coursework in special education or behavioral health is a plus.
