Sauna House is a wellness third space offering traditional contrast therapy through wood-burning saunas, cold plunges, and community gathering. Our Austin Sauna Garden is built around connection — and we’re looking for a passionate, people-first team member to help bring that experience to life.

Role Summary

As a Guest Service Coordinator, you’ll be the face of Sauna House — welcoming guests, driving membership and package sales, and ensuring the space runs safely and beautifully. This is a sales-forward hospitality role for someone who thrives on genuine connection, loves wellness, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty (or their wood stacked).

Key Responsibilities

• Membership & Package Sales
• Actively promote and sell memberships, session packages, and gift certificates to guests
• Educate guests on membership benefits, pricing tiers, and package options to drive conversions
• Follow up on guest interest to close membership sales and meet team sales goals
• Guest Experience & Customer Engagement
• Welcome every guest warmly and introduce them to contrast therapy and the Sauna House experience
• Answer questions with confidence and guide guests on safe, effective sauna and cold plunge use
• Prepare and serve teas and beverages as part of the guest wellness journey
• Operations & Retail
• Process bookings and transactions accurately using our POS and reservation system
• Sell merchandise and upsell add-ons during guest check-in and throughout visits
• Setup, Maintenance & Safety
• Set up, fire, and maintain wood-burning saunas; monitor cold plunge equipment
• Keep saunas, cold plunges, and surrounding areas clean, safe, and guest-ready at all times
• Perform physical tasks including carrying firewood, moving floor mats, and managing wet towel laundry

Requirements

• Genuine passion for wellness, health, and community-centered experiences
• Confident communicator with a natural ability to connect with people and recommend products or services
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Physically capable of lifting and handling equipment, wood, and heavy wet towels

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or wellness — especially in a membership or subscription-based environment
• Familiarity with contrast therapy, saunas, cold plunges, or similar wellness practices
• Self-motivated with a drive to hit sales goals and go above and beyond for guests

Compensation & Benefits

• $20/hour + tips + potential for commission on membership and package sales
