Experteer Overview In this role you support veterans with chronic pain through evidence-based psychotherapy within an interprofessional Pain Evaluation Center. You will work on complex cases, coordinating with physicians, psychologists, and other specialists to deliver integrated care. You drive assessment and treatment using CBT-Pain and ACT for Pain, and you educate patients and families while documenting care and aligning with medical plans. This position offers a collaborative environment focused on reducing pain and improving function for veterans. Compensation / Benefits • Provide pain management assessment and treatment using individual and group formats, including CBT-Pain and ACT for Pain • Collaborate with an interprofessional team to manage complex patients • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about treatment plans • Develop and document psychotherapeutic recommendations for interdisciplinary care • Treat patients on long-term opioid therapy and coordinate related care • Consult with MEDVAMC and Community-Based Outpatient Clinics on assessments and plans • Facilitate communication among medical team, patients, and families • Complete clinical charting and documentation timely • Attend treatment team meetings and participate in service delivery • Perform additional related duties as assigned Tasks • Key requirements • Paid Time Off • Parental Leave • Child Care Subsidy • Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care insurance • Retirement: Traditional pension and 401K • Potential for competitive salary adjustments
