Experteer Overview In this role you will provide direct patient care as a staff psychologist in the Gold Mental Health Clinic. You will deliver diagnostic interviews, psychological assessment, and evidence-based individual and group therapies to Veterans, with collaboration across the Treatment Team. You will respond to crises, perform suicide risk assessments, and supervise trainees as part of a multidisciplinary service. This position emphasizes Veterans’ mental health and the application of current research to practice, within a supportive, mission-driven environment. Compensation / Benefits • Conduct diagnostic interviews and psychological assessments • Provide individual, group, and couples/family therapy • Offer crisis response and suicide risk assessment with safety planning • Administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments • Engage in team activities and attend clinical meetings • Provide clinical supervision to psychiatry residents, practicum students, and interns • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adhere to peer review procedures • Maintain independent professional functioning and communicate significant issues to supervisor Tasks • Licensed/credentialed psychologist with General Core Privileges • Experience with Veterans and mental health care settings • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT for SUDs, Contingency Management, MET) • Ability to conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments • Experience supervising trainees and students (optional but preferred) • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and reporting skills Key requirements • Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) • Paid Time Off (37-50 days/year) • Parental Leave (up to 12 weeks) • Child Care Subsidy (up to 25%) • Traditional federal pension • Federal 401K with up to 5% contributions
