Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Line Technician (RLT) / Registered Behavior Technician, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives by implementing evidence-based interventions, assisting with daily living skills, and supporting their overall well-being. As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with licensed professionals to provide compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes growth, independence, and positive behavior change.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under supervision of licensed clinicians
  • Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and treatment responses to inform ongoing care and adjustments
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines
  • Support teaching and skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and functional life skills
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by ensuring confidentiality and security of all medical records and documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update care plans tailored to each client’s needs
  • Foster a positive environment that encourages behavioral health and effective behavior management strategies

Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification as a Registered Line Technician (RLT) / RBT within the designated timeframe
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management
  • Ability to collect data systematically and accurately for progress tracking and treatment planning
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members
  • Commitment to maintaining patient care standards while adhering to privacy regulations such as HIPAA
