Join our dynamic team as a Registered Line Technician (RLT) / Registered Behavior Technician, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under supervision of licensed clinicians
- Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and treatment responses to inform ongoing care and adjustments
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines
- Support teaching and skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and functional life skills
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by ensuring confidentiality and security of all medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update care plans tailored to each client’s needs
- Foster a positive environment that encourages behavioral health and effective behavior management strategies
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification as a Registered Line Technician (RLT) / RBT within the designated timeframe
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management
- Ability to collect data systematically and accurately for progress tracking and treatment planning
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Commitment to maintaining patient care standards while adhering to privacy regulations such as HIPAA
