A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist located in Danbury, CT. This role involves working within an educational setting to support the mental health and educational development of students through comprehensive psychological assessment and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students' learning needs and social-emotional challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and support services to students facing behavioral or emotional difficulties
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments to guide intervention strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing student support programs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as required to promote academic and emotional growth

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in a school environment conducting assessments and providing counseling services
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain confidentiality
