A School Psychologist opportunity is available in Fontana, CA, serving primarily at a high school with potential to add an elementary school assignment. This contract position offers part-time hours (3 days a week) with the possibility of transitioning to full-time. Psychologists work 6.5 hours per day in this role.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 20-30 students, completing initial and triennial IEP assessments, which encompass sending out assessment packets, conducting observations, administering rating scales, gathering and analyzing data, and presenting findings at IEP meetings alongside the team. The role requires strong organizational skills to effectively manage paperwork and collaborate with educators and families to support student needs.

Preferred candidates may be new graduates who demonstrate professionalism, readiness, and the ability to work independently from day one.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid PPS credential or equivalent certification in school psychology
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills for diverse student populations
  • Experience or willingness to complete comprehensive IEP processes
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
