A school district in the Santa Ana, California area is seeking a full-time School Psychologist for the 2023-2024 school year to support elementary students. This contract position focuses on students in grades K-5 and offers an opportunity to work within an itinerant role across the district.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations such as WISC, WJ, and RIOS
  • Monitoring student progress and behavior through observations
  • Collaborating closely with certified staff members and parents
  • Implementing IEPs and behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Providing direct psychological services and support within an elementary school setting

Qualifications:

  • Active California Certification as a School Psychologist with a valid PPS credential
  • Masters degree in School Psychology
