Nugent Family Counseling Center is seeking an adaptable, collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work with our RBT’s and clinical teams based out of our San Jose, CA location! You will be supervising our RBTs.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Job Description & Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), as certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Education: Required - Master's Degree in applied behavior analysis, special education, psychology or related discipline.

Experience: Required - Minimum of 3 years experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Expert knowledge of intervention planning for developing behavior change strategies that focus on reducing problem behaviors and increasing appropriate behaviors.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assessment and Treatment Training

Supervision and Training

Collaboration and Communication

Design and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and supervise registered behavior technicians. You will work with individuals of all ages and with various needs, including those with autism and other developmental disabilities.

  • Work collaboratively with Nugent colleagues and school staff to promote adaptive student behavior by providing professional development that targets research, strategies and modeling of instructional practices to support staff in their implementation of positive support and PBIS.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the area of data collection and behavior analysis.
  • Remote and/or on-site supervision to Registered Behavioral Technicians to maintain RBT credential.
  • Demonstrate behavior management ideas and/or techniques.
  • Provide training in the use of data collection, positive behavior supports, intervention techniques and instructional methodologies for staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per hour
