Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address academic, social, and emotional challenges.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to promote positive student behavior and mental health.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments.
  • Assist students in career exploration, goal setting, and academic planning.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to counseling activities and student progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant counseling credentials or licensure as required by the school or state education department.
  • Experience working within K-12 educational environments or similar settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build trust and rapport with students and staff.
  • Familiarity with counseling techniques, behavioral interventions, and student support services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse school community.
  • Commitment to student advocacy and empowerment.
