Experteer Overview In this role you will provide outpatient neuropsychological and psychological assessments for veterans at VA Palo Alto. You will triage referrals, conduct cognitive screenings, and develop outpatient neuropsychology clinics; collaborate with VA and non-VA providers across medicine, neurology, and mental health. You will participate in program evaluation, clinical research, and training, plus supervise psychology trainees. This position supports EDRP and is part of the multidisciplinary Outpatient Neuropsychology Assessment Consult program, contributing to veteran care and neuropsychology services at scale. Compensation / Benefits • Provide comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological assessment services on a consulting basis • Timely management and triage of outpatient neuropsychology consults and referrals • Maintain scheduling priorities per VA guidelines and procedures • Deliver assessment results promptly to providers, veterans and families • Collaborate with other Neuropsychology providers in the program • Provide consultation to VA and non-VA health care providers for veterans' needs • Ensure timely clinical charting and documentation • Education and training to other programs and professionals on neuropsychological assessment • Clinical supervision to psychology trainees and training to other disciplines • Serve on committees and contribute to program development and training • Conduct program evaluation and clinical research relevant to the program • Establish program monitors and outcome measurements using data-driven QA • Present outcome data and research at meetings as needed • Participate in VA committees and task forces as needed • Support efficient operation of the health care system through service delivery • Represent psychology in medical center and community activities Tasks • Key requirements • EDRP eligibility (educational debt reduction) • paid time off: 37-50 days per year • traditional federal pension and 401K with contribution • federal health/vision/dental/long-term care • paid holidays • not virtual position
