Role Summary:
A BCBA plays a vital role in improving the lives of children and families by delivering high-quality, evidence-based ABA services. They ensure treatment aligns with ethical and clinical best practices, monitor progress through data-driven decision-making, and adjust programs to support skill development and behavior reduction across home, school, clinic, and community settings.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BCBA Independent Contractor, you will:
- Work under the supervision of the Regional Directors to ensure the highest level of client care.
- Supervise Program Supervisors and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure treatment plans are executed effectively.
- Provide training and guidance to ABA staff on implementing evidence-based strategies and interventions.
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral evaluations, including functional assessments and re-assessments, to guide treatment planning.
- Develop and oversee individualized behavior support plans, ensuring they align with client goals and best practices in ABA therapy.
- Track client progress, conduct regular progress reviews, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Ensure all reports, internal documentation, and external communications are completed accurately and on time.
- Set and execute client goals, structured lesson plans, and high-level therapies to promote meaningful progress.
- Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with the company's policies, procedures and the BCBA service expectation guideline. This includes training parents and caregivers on their responsibilities within the program, such as maintaining consistent session attendance, following specified communication channels, making sure documents are signed, and adhering to parent handbook’s policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold an active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- At least one (1) year of experience conducting comprehensive functional assessments and behavior support plans. *Remote positions require a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with individuals with lifelong disabilities.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Plus – being credentialed by CCHP and Partnership insurances.
