- Train and supervise residents in safe and appropriate administration of psychiatric care
- Provide primary psychiatric care to patients
- Respond to urgent or emergency clinical issues
- Collaborate with other health care professionals to achieve treatment goals and ensure continuity and quality of care
- Assess and refer individuals for admission, transfer, discharge, and further treatment
- Review and maintain medical records and documentation consistent with facility, agency, State, and federal guidelines
- Serve as members of a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Monitor assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) patients and respond to AOT orders
- Provide Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment
- Psychiatrist Loan Repayment Program offering up to $120,000

This position is eligible for a down state adjustment of $4,000.NOTE:

Continued employment as a Psychiatrist 1 or Psychiatrist 2 is dependent upon current licensure to practice medicine and in the case of Psychiatrist 1 or Psychiatrist 2, current certification in child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Loss of licensure and certification may result in removal from this position.Some positions may require additional credentials or a background check to verify your identity.
