Registered Behavior Technician

US Medical Staffing LLC is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support an elementary-aged student in a special education classroom within a public school setting.

This is a school-based, full-time opportunity ideal for an RBT who enjoys working with young learners and providing structured behavioral support during the school day.

Position Details

• Setting: Public elementary school
• Classroom: Special education environment
• Schedule: Full-time, school hours
• Pay Rate: $23/hour (W2)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Type: School-year assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavioral support to an elementary student
• Implement behavior strategies using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Support transitions, classroom participation, and sensory regulation
• Promote student safety and positive peer interactions
• Collaborate with teachers and school-based support staff
• Complete required documentation and daily notes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience working with children with autism or behavioral needs
• Knowledge of ABA principles and sensory support strategies
• Ability to manage behaviors safely and professionally
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate approach
• Must meet school clearance and background requirements
