A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services within a K-12 school setting in Gretna, LA. This contract position runs through the current school year, ending in late May 2026.
Responsibilities include assessing and supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students across various grade levels. Candidates will collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention plans and contribute to multidisciplinary teams. The role requires adherence to all district policies and participation in meetings and school events as needed.
Key qualifications and requirements:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education certification in School Psychology
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment preferred
- Ability to complete required district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Availability for full-time hours: 35 per week (7 hours/day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), Monday through Friday following the school calendar
