School Psychologist - Harvey, LA

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist opportunity is available to support K-12 students in Harvey, LA, for the current school year through a contract assignment. This full-time position requires working 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar, with a daily schedule of seven hours plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing psychological assessments and interventions for students across the K-12 spectrum
• Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
• Conducting evaluations to identify student needs and provide recommendations for support
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintaining accurate documentation

Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education certification as a school psychologist is mandatory
• Compliance with district-required background checks, including drug screening and fingerprinting
