Better Life Therapy is a group practice of helping professionals owned and run by local therapists. We work to enhance the mental well-being of adults and children in our community. We are a fun, dynamic group of clinicians who value working collaboratively and helping improve the health and wellness of our communities.
Clinical therapist will provide outpatient individual therapy in-office and via telehealth to clients of Better Life Therapy LLC within Colorado. Role includes two half-day or one full days in-person working with survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Treatment specialties may include adults, children, trauma, OCD, eating disorders, EMDR, family, etc.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Master’s degree in counseling or social work.
- Active license (LCSW/LSW or LPC/LPCC) in the State of Colorado.
- Available to hold at least 25 patient sessions per week, schedule for 28, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Better Life Therapy.
Other Qualification Preferences:
- Interest in working with survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault 20% of time.
- Interest in working via telehealth and/or in-office for 80% of time
- Prior experience in a private practice setting
- At least one year of experience providing psychotherapy services
- Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, eating disorders, OCD, grief, etc.)
Hours:
- Work hours and schedule may vary depending on client and Better Life Therapy needs.
- Hours to include some early evenings.
- It is expected that therapist will be available to hold at least 25 patient sessions, scheduling 28 per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Better Life Therapy.
- Patient sessions are held via telehealth and in-person in Lakewood, Westminster and Denver.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical counseling services to patients of Better Life Therapy, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to patient sessions is required.
- Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Better Life Therapy.
- Completion of written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Better Life Therapy or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (within 24 hours of session completion). Keep patient files accurate and up to date.
- Other duties which may be assigned by Better Life Therapy.

Pay: $85,938.63 - $125,904.59 per year
