Experteer Overview In this role you provide comprehensive psychological services to inmates with more complex mental illnesses, under supervision from senior psychologists and in collaboration with psychiatry and health services leadership. You will determine care levels, develop treatment plans, and monitor quality within the mental health mission. You contribute to the safety and functioning of the institution while upholding professional standards. This position offers opportunities to shape mental health care in a correctional setting and work with a multidisciplinary team. Compensation / Benefits • Deliver mental health services to inmates with moderate to severe mental illness • Make professional clinical decisions with supervision from Chief Psychologist and psychiatry colleagues • Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans • Provide supervision and training for less experienced staff psychologists • Determine appropriate care level designation for inmates • Develop and oversee a quality assurance plan for the mental health mission • Contribute to institutional security and safety as part of correctional duties Tasks • Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology • At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level • Licensed to practice psychology at the doctoral level (full, current, unrestricted) in a U.S. jurisdiction • Experience with psychological evaluations, including test administration, scoring, and interpretation • Experience in developing treatment plans and supervising staff • Ability to make sound decisions in critical situations • Full license must be uploaded with expiration date at application • Experience in supervising and developing junior staff Key requirements • 50% recruitment incentive • Retention incentive up to 25% • Federal government benefits (implicit)
