Reports To: Cornerstone Health Operations Manager

We are currently looking for an Practice Manager (Administrative side) to join the Cornerstone Counseling Clinic team. We are looking for someone with a degree or experience in a related field such as behavioral health or business and experience supervising professionals and working with insurance and billing companies.

As the Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of the administrative side of the clinic, as well as maintaining relationships with insurance companies and other providers. You will also help to coordinate care, manage staff, and ensure that the clinic is compliant with applicable laws and regulations. Provider credentialing, timesheets, and license renewals.

This position covers of the administrative and oversight duties related to the daily Front Office operations of Cornerstone Health Counseling Clinic. Supervises the general day to day operation of Cornerstone Health Counseling Clinic Front Office, serves as the Practice contact person for the billing company, and ensures that Providers are up to date with Preferred Provider status, Credentialing, and Licensing. You will walk in to a smooth running operation with stable staffing, organized processes in place, and receive quality training!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following but are not limited to:

· Provides Supervision/Support to Front Office staff

· Works with HR to ensure proper staffing levels at the Front Office

· Verifies and ensures timecards are complete and submitted to CFO for payroll

· Reviews superbills

· Records client referral list (from Front Office staff)

· Approves time off request in collaboration with Clinical Director

· Research and implement billing solutions for testing(s) and visits

· Provides the Admin component at Staff meetings

· General administrative duties

· Display leadership qualities and behaviors as outlined (but not limited to) below

o Pleasant even disposition

o Address and triage complaints in a positive and professional manner

o Represent CHA and CHA Staff in a positive light at all times to our stakeholders

o Refer personnel matters to appropriate leadership

o Maintains clear lines of responsibility with others in Leadership roles

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Education in field related to Counseling or Healthcare

May be substituted for Degree in Business with healthcare experience

Experience in Administration and Supervision

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate with counselors, insurance companies and other Cornerstone Counseling/CHA employees with a professional demeanor. Demonstrate a positive attitude at all times.

SKILLS

It is necessary to be a good problem solver and be detail oriented.

Computer software knowledge

Highly organized

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods. Must have the dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
