Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Supervisor with an LCSW credential to lead and oversee mental health and behavioral health services within our organization. The Clinical Supervisor will provide expert clinical oversight, supervise a team of mental health professionals, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care across diverse populations. This role involves direct clinical supervision, case management, and administrative responsibilities to support effective treatment planning and service delivery in various settings including community, hospital, and outpatient environments.

Duties

  • Provide clinical supervision to licensed and unlicensed staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for individuals across age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, and psychotherapy.
  • Coordinate crisis intervention efforts and manage emergency situations with appropriate crisis management protocols.
  • Supervise documentation processes ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, accurate medical records management, and proper use of EMR systems.
  • Facilitate training on medical terminology, medical documentation, case management, and other relevant clinical skills.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans for patients with complex needs such as PTSD, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, addiction issues, and other behavioral health conditions.
  • Ensure quality assurance through data collection, patient assessment reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with all organizational policies and state/federal regulations related to mental health services.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent credential required.
  • Extensive experience in behavioral therapy, child & family counseling, crisis intervention, and home & community care settings.
  • Proven supervisory experience in clinical environments with strong leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, HIPAA regulations, and EMR systems.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Alzheimer's disease, PTSD, pediatrics, and addiction recovery.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools and case management practices.
  • Strong skills in social work principles, mental health counseling techniques, group therapy facilitation, and clinical counseling methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and community resources.
