Experteer Overview In this role you support student mental health through structured clinical services and collaboration across campus. You provide crisis intervention, assessment, counseling, and consultation, while contributing to training programs and outreach. You lead coordinated areas, supervise trainees, and engage in administrative and interdepartmental activities to advance the Counseling Center’s mission. The position offers opportunities for after-hours coverage and telework after a probation period, emphasizing campus-wide impact and ongoing professional development. Compensation / Benefits • Provide crisis intervention, assessment, counseling, and clinical consultation in individual and group formats • Lead and develop policies and procedures in a designated coordination area, supervise trainees when applicable, and support campus collaborations • Contribute to doctoral internship training via seminars and program activities; supervise interns/externs as assigned • Deliver outreach programming and psycho-education; assist with online formats and self-help resources • Engage in administrative functions to support efficient Center operations; attend staff meetings; contribute to planning and policy development • Participate in Student Affairs and university-wide initiatives; attend functions and serve on committees as assigned • Occasional after-hours and weekend coverage for emergencies and outreach; potential telework up to two days/week after 90 days of service in good standing Tasks • Doctoral Degree in Psychology, licensed or license-eligible in Maryland; must meet all requirements before start date • Full licensure as a Psychologist in Maryland required by end of the first full year in position • Experience in a college/university Counseling Center or related brief treatment and outreach settings (1 semester or 4-5 months) Key requirements •
