Experteer Overview In this role you will provide evidence-based psychological services within the Texas Behavioral Health Center and UT Southwestern’s academic environment. You will teach, supervise, and collaborate across disciplines to advance care for patients with serious mental illness while integrating research and education in a state-of-the-art hospital setting. The role supports program development, clinical training, and scholarly activities, contributing to a mission of patient-centered care and neuroscience-driven practice. This position offers opportunities to shape models of care and engage in interdisciplinary innovation. Compensation / Benefits • Direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team • Teach and supervise clinical psychology trainees and psychiatry residents/students • Develop and integrate programs that enhance psychological care and research in a new hospital • Collaborate with psychology leadership to ensure high-quality care and education • Participate in clinical teaching and supervision across doctoral and internship programs • Contribute to research and scholarly activities in hospital settings • Support models of care innovation for patients with serious mental illness Tasks • Board Certification or Board Eligibility by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) • Prior academic/hospital experience and strong track record in clinical teaching and research (plus) • Licensure in Texas is not required for consideration but is a prerequisite to start • Experience with forensic populations is desirable but not required Key requirements • generous compensation with guaranteed salary • wRVU productivity incentive • conference days and professional allowance • comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance • retirement benefits and disability insurance • Paid Parental Leave and holidays; PTO from day one; PSLF and NIH loan repayment programs
