The Intake Coordinator is the liaison between the patient and the registered nurse to ensure cases are assigned in a timely fashion. They are responsible for developing and maintaining the work schedules of nurses to meet patients’ needs, adjust staffing according to the availability of the nurses and report changes to the appropriate supervisors, assure the accuracy of the time reports, and verify nurses’ work hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate monthly RN visit reminders.
  • Communicate with Registered Nurses and generate weekly work schedules.
  • Call patients to schedule nurse assessments and send out calendar invites to internal team.
  • Answer phone calls from patients and nurses to coordinate daily schedules.
  • Enter and update new patient demographic information into our nurse documentation system.
  • Monitor and report issues to the upper management to ensure problems are solved timely.
  • Verify nurses’ work hours based on the scheduled visits.

Language Requirements:

  • English Chinese Bilingual (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) or
  • English-Spanish Bilingual

Requirements:

  • At least one (1) year of customer service, home care, or scheduling experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, spoken, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer and telephone programs such as Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, HHAeXchange, and VOIP phones
  • Self-motivated and reliable work ethic
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Pay Rate: (Hourly)

  • Full-time: $18-$22 per hour, biweekly pay

Work schedule:

  • 5 days a week, 9 AM-5 PM

  • Fresh Meadow, Queens
