Mental Health Pros/SMARTS Recovery by VABODE is searching for a full time Substance Abuse Case Manager with knowledge, skills, and abilities in the field of addiction. This person will be responsible for facilitating case management and skill building services to all SUD clients currently participating in the Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program.
Education:
A Bachelors or Associates degree in social work or a related degree (psychology, sociology), and/OR two years of work experience in a related field is required.
Required Certification:
Must be in good standing and certified as a CSAC or CSAC-S and QMHP by the Virginia Department of Health Professionals.
Additional Essential Functions:
Develops a comprehensive case management service plan of care and reviews and updates service plans. Attends staff meetings. Completes quarterly reports. Provides motivational counseling to individuals to facilitate/improve engagement in services that support recovery.
Other duties as assigned.
