Experteer Overview In this role you will join the Article 16 Clinic behavioral health team to deliver integrated psychiatric care. You will help align mental and physical health services and serve as a primary prescriber, contributing to accountable, measurable outcomes. You may supervise clinical staff and advise treatment plans for residents, supporting a multidisciplinary approach. Compensation / Benefits • Provide comprehensive psychiatric treatment within an integrated care model • Serve as primary prescriber and oversee psychopharmacology treatment • Supervise medical staff or clinicians and guide psychiatric care for assigned facilities • Advise residential multi-disciplinary teams on psychiatric plans of care • Practice under direction of a higher-level Psychiatrist or Physician Tasks • License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State • Completion of an ABPN-approved psychiatry training program • Obtain and maintain credentials; background checks and eligibility reviews • Possibility of enrolling as a Medicare provider and participating in Medicare/Medicaid programs • Compliance with state and federal licensure, certification, and background checks Key requirements • health insurance • paid holidays • paid vacation • paid sick leave • paid parental leave • retirement plan
