Summary

As a Registered Behavior Technician at Applied Behavioral Consulting, you will play a vital role in implementing individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities. This position is essential in supporting our mission to provide high-quality behavioral services and promote client independence.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Provide direct 1:1 support to clients in various settings, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Support the creation of a positive learning environment that encourages client engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
• Strong skills in assisting clients with daily activities and behavioral interventions.
• Knowledge of special education principles and practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation processes is a plus.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to client confidentiality is beneficial.
• Proven ability to implement behavioral therapy techniques effectively.
