Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Hospital Based
Location: Atlanta GA, Canton GA and Cumming, GA (No local candidates within 50 miles)
Assignment Length: 8 Weeks
Schedule: 12 hrs/Days

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our hospital-based team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in providing emotional support, counseling, and care coordination for patients and their families in a hospital setting. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact in patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychosocial assessments and counseling to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
• Assist patients and families with care planning, discharge planning, and access to community resources.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospital-based social work.
• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of Georgia.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient advocacy skills.
