About the Role
Join the ABA Dynamic team as a Home-Based Behavior Technician! We believe that the most meaningful progress happens where the child is most comfortable: at home. You will provide high-quality, 1-on-1 ABA therapy directly in the client's residence, working closely with families to create a supportive and joyful learning environment.
This role is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, enjoys working in a personal setting, and is passionate about making a localized impact in the Staten Island community.
Key Responsibilities
- Home-Based Therapy: Deliver 1-on-1 ABA interventions in the client’s home, focusing on communication, social skills, and daily living tasks (e.g., dressing, eating, hygiene).
- Parent Collaboration: Act as a professional bridge between the BCBA and the family, helping parents understand and implement strategies during daily routines.
- Environment Adaptation: Identify and utilize natural opportunities within the home (playroom, kitchen, backyard) to teach and generalize new skills.
- Clinical Integrity: Follow the specific behavior intervention plan (BIP) and skill acquisition goals precisely as written by the BCBA.
- Remote Reporting: Accurately log session notes and data via a mobile device immediately following each home visit.
- Safety & Ethics: Maintain a safe environment for the client and yourself, adhering to all trauma-informed safety protocols.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
