Lighthouse Therapeutic Services is seeking knowledgeable, dependable, and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professionals who will utilize strengths-based training and evidence-based practices to assist children, adolescents, and adults with building skills to live more rewarding lives.

Candidates for this position will be considered to provide the following services:

Medication Training & Support Services

Skill Training & Development

Crisis Intervention Services

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Responsible for providing one on one skill-building training in the home and/or community setting utilizing evidence-based practices and curriculums
  • Implementing and utilizing client centered treatment plans
  • Facilitating crisis intervention for individuals using evidenced based practices and strategies
  • Maintains records by regulatory/agency standards. Enters data in a clear, accurate, and timely manner. Also, promptly submits documentation needed for the tracking of output/outcome measures. May be asked to assist in record review or qualitative review processes.
  • Responsible for keeping the family and team members informed on progress toward achieving Service Plan goals
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks such as behavior management, counseling services to the client, budget management, independent transportation assistance, time management skills, and other tasks to promote independent living.
  • Collaborates with collateral contacts, community stakeholders, and managed care organization to coordinate needs of individuals served.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation while adhering to requirements set by the Texas Administrative Code.
  • Participate in staff meetings, supervision, training, and professional development as required.
  • QMHP will perform job duties in the office, community, and home environment and may be required to transport clients.

Applicant Requirements:

· Minimum of Bachelors’ Degree in Human Services or related field (e.g. psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention);

· is a registered nurse; or

· At least 2 years of experience providing therapeutic services for children/adolescents with behavioral challenges on an intensive level

· Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and pass drug and background screenings

· Applicant should have cell phone, access to computer and internet outside of office, and must have basic computer skills.

· Bi-lingual applicants highly encouraged to apply (Spanish speaking preferred). Proficiency in English speaking required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
