Knoxville Center for Autism is hiring Full Time (Part Time Also available), Registered Behavior Technicians. In this role, you'll work one-on-one with children, guiding them in communication and aiding in overcoming delayed milestones. We are clinic based, provide guaranteed hours, and on the job training (40 hour course work must be completed before starting). Our mission is to help children reach their full potential.

KCA will be celebrating 16 years of providing quality, early intervention ABA therapy to the Knoxville area in March! We are locally owned and operated. We offer our clients a full comprehensive treatment center for children on the Autism Spectrum and their families focusing on intensive, early intervention therapies. Our clients range from 2-10 years old, diagnosed on the autism spectrum. We are open Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.

Job Highlights:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead 1-on-1 ABA therapy sessions with children between the ages of 2-10 on the Autism Spectrum. ABA therapy is specific to VB (Verbal Behavior).
  • Implement principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with clients.
  • Take and maintain all appropriate data for each child during sessions.
  • Follow behavior plans and protocols during sessions.
  • Communicate with parents/caregivers daily.
  • Able to accept and follow constructive feedback.
  • Attend mandatory weekly staff meetings.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Required Work Experience & Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
  • Experience working with children in some capacity.
  • Great writing and verbal communication
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
  • Must be able to get on the floor and play with young children.
  • Must be able to move quickly.
  • Required to complete and pass a background check and drug screen.
