School Counselor in Hayward, CA

Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time counselor position is available in a K-12 school located in Hayward, CA, starting January 6, 2026. This is a contract role spanning the current school year, providing an excellent opportunity to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students across K-12 grade levels
• Support student development in areas such as academic achievement, career exploration, and personal/social skills
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to address student needs
• Maintain accurate counseling records and comply with confidentiality standards
