- Flexible schedule
- Provide one-on-one home and community Recreation Therapy to children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and behavioral/mental health diagnoses
- Create tailored goals to meet the needs of individual clients
- Document on each session
- Communicate with other team members and service providers
- Turn in timely documentation including weekly invoicing, progress notes, and related paperwork
- Must be able to travel to current or prospective clients’ homes
- Must be able and willing to transport client(s) during client visits
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and agency-required auto liability insurance (100k/300k Bodily Injury)
- Must be able to communicate with health care professionals, clients, families, and the general public through verbal and written communication
- Must have access to a private personal laptop or desktop computer for HIPAA compliance
- Track SMART goals and progress through weekly documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Reader
- Implement patient care plans through home and community goal-related activities
- Able to work independently, manage one’s own time and the time of client(s)

- Minimum of Bachelors Level Degree required in one of the following: Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Administration with emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation, Leisure Studies with emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation, and/or related degree to Therapeutic Recreation
- CPR/AED/FIRST AID Certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association only
- CTRS or TRS/TXC certified
- Social Security Card
- Driver's License
- Auto Insurance (with 100/300/100 coverage minimum)
- Professional Liability Insurance (with $1 million/$3 million coverage limit)
