A school psychologist opportunity is available in Lacey, WA, serving elementary and some high school student populations across three sites. This contract role spans from January 5th through June 12th, with potential additional days due to weather-related closures. The position offers a hybrid schedulefour days onsite and one day remote weeklyallowing for a balanced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations, managing an assigned caseload.
  • Provide assessment and support services primarily at the elementary level, with some involvement in high school and preschool settings.
  • Collaborate with educational teams to address student referrals.
  • Manage a student ratio of approximately one psychologist per 1,000 students, completing around 60 initial evaluations over the school year.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Washington State School Psychologist License is required.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is highly preferred; new graduates with a strong foundation will also be considered.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a copy of Social Security card.
  • Fingerprinting and background check verification via the OSPI database is required.

Work Schedule:

  • 37.5 hours per week with occasional opportunities for up to 40 hours upon approval.
  • Hybrid work model: four days onsite and one remote day.
  • Flexibility for additional days during inclement weather periods.
