A full-time, contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Counselor to support one elementary school in Fremont, CA. This position runs from January 6, 2026, through May 30, 2026, during the school year. The role is ideal for a professional holding a PPS credential in School Counseling who thrives in a collaborative educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive counseling services to elementary-aged students, focusing on social-emotional well-being, academic guidance, and behavioral support.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop strategies addressing student needs.
• Assist in creating a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth.
• Participate in student support team meetings and contribute to intervention planning.

Qualifications:

• Valid PPS credential in School Counseling required.
• Experience working with elementary school students preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently within a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
• Flexibility to work onsite in accordance with district preferences; remote interviewing available.
