Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), where you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. As a BCBA, you will design, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive behavioral intervention plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine behavioral strengths and areas for growth.
- Collect and analyze data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities, ensuring patient safety and engagement.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and facilitate consistent implementation of interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Lead intake sessions to gather comprehensive client histories and establish initial treatment goals.
- Participate in ongoing training on medical terminology, behavioral health practices, and diagnostic procedures to enhance service quality.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
- Demonstrated expertise in behavioral therapy techniques and data collection methods within applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Familiarity with patient assessment tools, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Prior experience conducting diagnostic evaluations or behavioral health assessments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education practices and working within multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health and disability services.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts clearly and professionally while maintaining patient confidentiality.
