A K-12 School Psychologist position is available for the current school year in Columbus, OH. This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to the educational and emotional well-being of students across a diverse grade range. The ideal candidate will apply psychological principles and techniques to support students' learning and development, working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret test results to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student mental health.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a positive learning environment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to behavior management plans.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid license or certification to practice as a School Psychologist.
- Experience with K-12 student populations preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment.
