Join our team! We are looking for RBTs in the Prosper ,TX area!

As a Registered Behavior Technician/Behavior Technician with Little Spero, you will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at our Prosper, TX therapy center. You will interact directly with your clients to implement established behavioral treatment plans provided by the BCBA. Implementing the treatment plans may involve teaching individuals adaptive skills, communication skills, self-care skills, and social skills to improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the field of ABA Therapy, working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Experience working in a center-based therapy center with children having behavioral/mental-health/therapy-related environment is preferred.
  • Must be a passionate professional, effective collaborator and compassionate team member
  • Must be self-motivated, responsible, honest, and articulate.
  • Demonstrate a professional demeanor; be well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and work calmly under pressure.
  • Politely interact with individuals and families who may be uncooperative.
  • Effectively communicate with others (clients, family members, agency staff).
  • Accept, follow and implement direction from BCBA and the organization’s management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Applying the principles of one-on-one ABA therapy to help children with Autism reach their full potential
  • Providing early intervention therapy in a center-based and in-home setting.
  • Shaping the minds of children in early childhood (ages 2 to 12 years old)
  • Collecting data and implementing individual treatment plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
  • If hired as a Behavior Technician, Little Spero will provide all necessary training to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
