We are looking for Full Time Psychiatric Technicians to join our team.

**Work Schedule**
75 hours bi-weekly, Every other weekend required

2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)

Education Required: Clinical Bachelors' degree and one (1) year of Adult behavioral health direct care experience preferred. High School Diploma along with 12 Behavioral Health college credits (Psychology, Sociology, Social Work) and three (3) years of Adult behavioral health direct care experience or any combination of experience, education, or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill, and ability required. Male candidates w/ behavioral health experience desired.

Job Duties: Primary responsibilities for the Psychiatric Technician include but are not limited to:

Implement nursing interventions prescribed by the nurse and give accurate verbal and written reports of patient’s behavior

  • In accordance with all nursing policies/procedures:
  • Assist the Registered Nurse in the clinical care and recovery of patients.
  • Maintain a safe therapeutic environment by conducting unit rounds, adhering to search policy and standard infection control precautions
  • Conduct 1:1 observation when deemed necessary
  • Assist assigned patients with ADLs and adapt to unit routine
  • Address concerning behavior of patients using least restrictive alternative
  • Complete patient admissions and nursing discharge duties
  • Must be able to work independently and professionally with others and be detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Documentation includes patient vital signs, progress notes, dietary intake, etc.
