Experteer Overview In this role you drive appropriate care by facilitating admissions, conducting intake assessments, and leading utilization review. You work with medical and psychiatric colleagues to support referrals and coordinate transfers, ensuring timely pre-authorizations and accurate documentation. You provide empathetic, patient-focused service and uphold safety and quality standards in a brand-new facility. This position offers meaningful impact through care coordination and process improvements in a mission-driven team. Compensation / Benefits • Respond to inquiries about the facility within policy timeframes • Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families • Assess benefit eligibility to confirm active coverage at admission and communicate outcomes • Collaborate with clinical staff to determine appropriate referrals • Coordinate admissions and transfers across levels of care • Maintain knowledge of milieu management • Communicate projected admissions to internal stakeholders • Ensure clinical information from referrals is obtained prior to admission when possible • Schedule and complete pre-admission assessments, consult with admitting physician, and communicate disposition • Prepare and maintain medical record documentation to support payer authorization • Complete initial pre-authorization for treatment and admission per payer timelines • Admit patient in registration system and complete admission/consent forms • Demonstrate professional, empathetic customer service and address complaints • Coordinate care for non-admitted patients and arrange appropriate follow-up • Maintain urgency regarding patient safety and deliver excellent service • Conduct safety checks and arrange supervision as required Tasks • Master's degree in a social services field or RN preferred • One or more years' experience in mental/behavioral health in a clinical or observational capacity preferred • Current licensure as applicable (e.g., RN, CAC or other clinical license) • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required • First aid may be required depending on state or facility Key requirements •
