Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our mental health and behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care through psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and case management across diverse populations, including children, adults, and seniors. The LCSW will be responsible for delivering individual, group, and family counseling, utilizing a broad range of therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each patient. Duties
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and crisis intervention.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions addressing mental health issues including PTSD, addiction, depression, anxiety, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, Alzheimer’s care, and geriatrics.
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient records, medical history, treatment progress, and clinical notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in case management activities to coordinate care with healthcare providers, community resources, and support services.
- Participate in clinical research projects related to behavioral health or mental health counseling to contribute to evidence-based practices.
- Perform intake assessments and patient care planning while ensuring culturally sensitive approaches including Christian counseling when appropriate.
- Maintain ongoing professional development through training in CPT coding, ICD coding updates (ICD-10/ICD-9), psychopharmacology updates, and other relevant certifications.
- Provide crisis management interventions as needed to ensure patient safety and stabilization during acute episodes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals to deliver holistic patient care.
Experience
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program; licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral health counseling, or addiction counseling.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children & family counseling as well as adults with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.
- Experience working within hospital settings or home & community care environments preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation; knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management essential.
- Prior involvement in clinical research or data collection projects related to mental health is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols.
- Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9) for diagnostic evaluation coding purposes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards. Pay: $36.00 - $47.69 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
