College Counselor – Young Scholars San Marino (In-Person Only)

Young Scholars is an education and college counseling institute supporting students with academic planning, extracurricular development, and college admissions guidance.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an in-person Counselor for our San Marino branch. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and experienced in working with middle and high school students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students.
• Assist with academic planning, course selection, and extracurricular guidance.
• Support college application strategy and timeline management.
• Provide feedback on essays and application materials.
• Communicate with parents and maintain progress notes.
• Collaborate with branch staff and attend required meetings or trainings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. college admissions.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Previous counseling, advising, or teaching experience preferred.
• Must be available for in-person work at San Marino.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
