After School Counselor

We are looking for an experienced Counselor to support our pre-k through elementary students. The ideal candidate has a background in day care and is passionate about maintaining a positive learning environment for students. The position is suitable for a part-time work. The Counselor will assist after school director with engaging students with various activities, help in summer camp with field trips, also able to do bus runs for pick up kids from local schools, maintain student records and create individualized educational plans for students.

Responsibilities:

• Assist students in making decisions about their educational and career path.
• Identify learning needs, academic and social strengths, and challenges of students.
• Establish individual goals; monitor progress; modify plans if necessary.
• pick up and drop off from elementary schools, help with activities in summer camp and taking kids to different field trips.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
