Rancho Family Medical Group/ Rancho Behavioral Health is a trusted and well-established healthcare provider in Southern California, dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care across Primary Care, Pediatrics, and Women’s OB/GYN services. In alignment with our mission to support whole-person wellness, we are expanding our services through the development of a Behavioral Health Program—aimed at increasing access to essential mental health care and enhancing the overall well-being of our community.

Position Overview:
We are seeking LMFTs, LPCCs, and LCSWs who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in patients’ lives by providing high-quality, compassionate mental health care. This is a flexible, remote position with the potential to transition into a hybrid role as our program develops. You’ll work collaboratively with our behavioral health and medical teams to provide therapy and support to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and couples therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform, with potential for in-person care if the program transitions to a hybrid model.
  • Collaborate with behavioral health team and primary care providers to ensure wholistic care (i.e. integrated care planning, coordinate treatment goals, share relevant clinical insights, and support whole-person care that addresses both physical and mental health needs)
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements, supporting continuity of care and effective interdisciplinary communication
  • Participate in weekly team meetings designed to foster staff connection, facilitate collaborative case consultations, and share important organizational updates, promoting a cohesive and informed care environment.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a clinical field (e.g., MFT, MSW, MC, MMHC)
  • Active, unrestricted California license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, or equivalent—eligible to practice independently without supervision and free of disciplinary history
  • Proven experience delivering evidence-based therapies such as ACT, CBT, CPT, and DBT, with a strong commitment to clinical best practices including measurement-based care and skills development
  • Skilled in risk assessment and crisis intervention, with the ability to respond effectively to urgent clinical situations
  • Prior experience providing therapy via telehealth platforms (video and phone) preferred
  • Comfortable using digital tools and video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Doximity)
  • Ability to manage a full caseload (25+ billable hours/week)
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Why Join RFMG?

  • Competitive hourly rate with a guaranteed minimum number of hours
  • Flexible schedule starting remote with potential to become hybrid
  • Incredible culture of staff who are caring, supportive and aim to do “the right thing” for our clients, staff and community
  • Opportunity to shape a growing behavioral health program meant to help thousands of people
  • Licensure renewal reimbursement (CA license only)
  • Malpractice liability insurance policy
