Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. This role involves working directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement evidence-based interventions and support their growth and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), experience with medical documentation, and a commitment to patient care. Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior plans based on ABA principles under supervision of licensed clinicians
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress and behavior during therapy sessions
- Assist with patient assessments, intake procedures, and diagnostic evaluations as needed
- Support clients with developmental disabilities, including autism, through therapeutic activities and interventions
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with team members to develop and modify treatment strategies tailored to each client's needs
- Ensure a safe, supportive environment conducive to learning and behavioral improvement
- Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral therapy techniques, medical terminology, and patient care protocols
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy methods, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA), is highly desirable
- Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus
- Familiarity with medical documentation, patient assessment, and medical records management is advantageous
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality
- Experience working with people with autism or other disabilities will be considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills and patience are essential for success in this role

Pay: $24.50 - $27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 12.0 per week
